For the Bring the Heat we had 3 teams competing this last weekend (1 Scaled, 2 Rx). The level of athleticism at this event was remarkable. Every year the bar gets raised and it is evident the sport as a whole is progressing. Event 1 – “Max Thruster-ish” establish 1 rep max “Thruster” for all teammates. – “Max Thruster-ish” will be 2 separate scores, 1 for the men and 1 for the ladies, completed simultaneously. The pairs will have 5 minutes to make as many attempts as desired to find a 1 rep max “Thruster”. Event 2 – “The Hang Clean Shuffle” 15 Minute Cap Female 1, Male 1, Female 2, Male 2 10 Hang Clean (145/95)(105/65) , shuttle down and back x 2 (~140 ft) 10 Hang Clean, shuttle down and back x2 10 Hang Clean, run and tag team mate Event 3 – “The Mover” – 20 min cap – As a team, one person working at a time, complete: 60 Hand Release Burpees 100 Push Press (95/65), (75/45) 120 Box Jump Up and Overs (24/20), (20/16) 100 Push Press 60 Hand Release Burpees Floater – “You Got It, Ball Out!” – 8 Min AMRAP Wall Ball while 1 male partner and 1 female partner Deadlift hold Kettlebells – RX Wall Ball 20/14, 70/55 KBs at Deadlift SCALED Wall Ball 14/10, 55/35 KBs at Deadlift ]]>
