This is a ladies-only challenge that will showcase the amazing strength, tenacity and camaraderie that only the women of CrossFit have to offer! Grab a girlfriend and join the roster of The Majors Division (Rx) or The Minors Division (Scaled). Four workouts across broad time and modal domains will give your duo the chance to push through your weaknesses and show off your strengths! Over $3000 in Prizes, including $1200 Cash! For each of the three WODs (not the Final), the 1st place finishing team in each division will receive a $50 prize (this will be divided evenly for Parts A and B of WOD #1). Cash and additional prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in The Majors Division. Additional prizes will be awarded to the top three teams of The Minors Division. 1st Place Majors Team: $500 2nd Place Majors Team: $250 3rd Place Majors Team: $150 Team Requirements The Minors Division will consist of 30 teams, each comprised of two female athletes. Movements and weights in The Minors will be scaled down in comparison to The Majors; however, this is still a competitive environment and not for the rookie CrossFitter. To compete in The Minors, each athlete should have at least 6-12 months of CrossFit experience. Athletes should be comfortable performing standard barbell movements, such as the deadlift, snatch, clean, shoulder-to-overhead (shoulder press, push press, push jerk), squats (back, front, overhead), and thrusters. SKILL Requirements. Both athletes should be capable of performing multiple repetitions of each of the following movements: – Toes-To-Bar – Box Jumps (20″ box) – Wall Ball Shots (14# ball to 9′ target) – Handstand Hold on Wall (>= 20 seconds) – Double-Unders* *At least one athlete STRENGTH Requirements. At a minimum, both athletes should possess the following one repetition maximums (1RMs) and be comfortable performing up to 75% of those values for multiple repetitions in a workout: – 65# Snatch – 85# Thruster – 95# Clean & Jerk – 135# Back Squat – 165# Deadlift Team Requirements The Majors Division will consist of 30 teams, each comprised of two female athletes. To compete in The Majors, both athletes should possess the strength and skills necessary to perform typical CrossFit workouts as prescribed (RX). Athletes should be comfortable performing standard barbell movements, such as the deadlift, snatch, clean, shoulder-to-overhead (shoulder press, push press, push/split jerk), squats (back, front, overhead), and thrusters. Scaled SKILL Requirements. Both athletes should be capable of performing multiple repetitions of each of the following movements: – Pull-Ups – Toes-to-Bar – Box Jumps (24″ box) – Double-Unders – Handstand Push-Ups* *At least one athlete Rx STRENGTH Requirements.
